If you are like me, you may not think it’s possible. We’re not supposed to get everything we want. It’s a about compromise and sacrifice, right?

Wrong.

I’ve been playing with the universe lately and inviting my clients to do the same.

The stories I am about to share are absolutely true. Trust me. You can’t make this sh*t up.

One

It started with the email from E. (a client who attended my retreat last May). “I’d love to catch up – the do-over weekend set me on my desired path!”

It was 7 months since retreat and I always love it when life falls into place just as it should for my clients. I couldn’t wait for her call.

“You won’t believe this.” She said. “You know how I put in my desires that I wanted to sell my house?” “Yup.” “Well… before it was even on the market, I get a knock on my door and a man says, ‘I want to buy your house, is it for sale?’ I couldn’t believe it!”

That man did buy her house and gave her 6 months to find a new one. Oh, and… she also found a new man and is enjoying the great sensual and fulfilling relationship she was so wanting. Hmmm…

Two

I am sitting across from the table from my best friend. He has been a musician his entire life and since I met him, he’s always talked about how he really rocks out a bass guitar. “Where’s your bass?” I asked. “Someone stole it. I don’t have it anymore.” “You need a bass,” I said. “I don’t have $5000 for a guitar right now.”

“You might not have to buy it.” I said. “Just ask for it and let it go. Then book a gig and trust that by the time the gig comes up, you’ll have your bass.” He looked at me. “I’m not kidding. Just turn it over to the universe.”

Three weeks later, I get a text: “You won’t believe this! I just got a Bass!!! For free!!” “It’s worth $3,500 but to me, it’s priceless!”…. Just in time for his gig.

Three

Just last week I had a great conversation with B. She’s divorced, owns her own business and has big dreams, but an empty wallet. She wanted to start coaching with me but couldn’t see where the money was coming from.

“Turn it over,” I said. “Just set the intention that you are going to coach with me and trust that the money will show up.” We set a date on the calendar for our first session.

On Saturday, I get an email: “Happy Saturday, can we talk today for two or three minutes?” I called her cell. “I’m in the gym, but I had to tell you, yesterday my accountant called and told me he made a mistake on my tax return. I am owed thousands back in a refund. I can coach with you!” We had our first session yesterday.

The Moral

The only thing standing in the way of you getting what you want is you.
